An Easy To Use, Cost Effective Solution
Anyone who managers recreation complexes knows the challenges in controlling sports lighting. BE inCONTROL makes it super easy with its Text To Control system. This system utilizes three main components and allows users to control (on/off/dim/schedule/rules) LED and other types of lighting systems. The system allows authorized mobile users based on the users’ mobile phone number to control the lighting system(s) via text. Recreational districts and departments can also control multiple complexes in different locations. Commands include "status", "all on", "all off", "field # on", "field # off". Don't hesitate to ask if you need further commands.
The Text To Control system which works on any mobile device that can send and receive texts, regardless of device operating system (iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc).
If the complex has LED lighting, dimming can be a useful method of lowering costs as fields can be dimmed when not in use but the complex is still open. 3-stage dimming (high-medium-low or to set percentages) is very effective as a cost savings tool.

The Smart Gateway provides two way communication with the lighting controllers and connects securely via internet or via sim data card. Most large recreational complexes require 2 units. Our gateways are pre-programmed to work out of the box for your complex. A competent electrician and/or IT technician can handle installation.

Lighting controllers are typically installed so that a single controller controls a single field. Lighting controllers communicate with the smart gateway and depending on the type of light can provide on/off/dimming functions. In addition, lighting controllers can talk to each other forming a mesh network which lowers the number of gateways needed. A competent electrician can handle installation. Lighting controllers also provide realtime utility grade metering which is helpful in energy efficiency efforts as well as trouble shooting power issues.

Our Text To Control monthly service provides real time information to users including on/off status with a simple text message. Authorized users send text commands and the system responds with a text back. In addition the system has additional features such a scheduling and mandatory "off" times- ie. all lights off at 10:30pm.
